EP 237 Her 15 Year Infertility Journey Turned Into a Book Intended to Help Others | Marline C Duroseau

Born and raised in Miami's Little Haiti, FL, Marline is a grounded, humbled and accomplished woman.  Marline was born to Haitian immigrant parents.  Destined to make her parents proud, Marline is a successful CFO, CPA, Management Business Professional, Educator, Entrepreneur and Doctoral candidate.  She can now add Author to her list of accomplishments.  What started off as an outlet to cope and express her feelings while dealing with Infertility and child loss, has resulted in her first published work, titled "It'll Happen By 30: A Relentless Journey of Faith | Delayed but not Denied."  On a continual mission to help others, Marline is very proud of her book.

The book has catapulted her into the next phase and role in her life as an Advocate for all things Women.  After launching her company, MCD Business Enterprise LLC, Marline is an Entrepreneur set out to empower and help build confidence among her fellow female cohorts.  She has coined the saying "Where Women Matter."  Marline has since released her 2nd book in honor of her twins born via IVF titled “Kason and Kamden | Yes We’re Twins and I’m Still Me.” The book aims to help the young generation to embrace what makes them different and unique.

Marline is blissfully celebrating 21 years of marriage to her doting husband Kevens.  She is mother to 4 princes - her bonus son, Richard, twin boys Kason and Kamden, and her youngest son KB (Kevens Benjamin).  When not working, Marline and Kevens invest lots of time with their family of sons in finding new ways to nourish their family dynamic.

Keeping in line with the Christian teachings of offering time, talent, and treasure, Marline volunteers in a multitude of capacities.  Marline proudly serves as the Chairperson for the Finance Committee at the Church of the Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary.  She also served as a former CCD (religious education) instructor for the church in an effort to give back to the faith community and enrich the younger generation.  As the Treasurer for her local Home Owner's Association, she volunteers her time to ensure the residential community functions well to meet the needs of her fellow homeowners.  Furthermore, Marline is an Ambassador with the non-profit organization, Filling Empty Wombs, to further assist, bring awareness, and advocate for the fertility community that are too often voiceless.
