Janetti Marotta, PhD, is a psychologist who has specialized in every area of infertility since 1990.  She is the author of A Fertile Path: Guiding the Journey with Mindfulness and Compassion (2018). Dr. Marotta is a graduate of Yale University and the University of Nevada, Reno, who has served on the regional board of RESOLVE, the National Infertility Organization, worked as a staff psychologist in the Department of Psychiatry at Stanford University, and founded the Fertility Support and Mindfulness Program at Palo Alto Medical Foundation Fertility Physicians. Dr. Marotta is a long-time practitioner of meditation and mindfulness and also author of the book 50 MindfulSteps to Self-Esteem: Everyday Practices for Cultivating Self-Acceptance and Self-Compassion.
