#146 Born Without a Uterus, Jennifer Gobrecht Found a Way to Become Pregnant!

Jennifer Gobrecht was told by doctors at age 17 that she was unlikely to have a child because she was born without a womb.  This was because Jennifer has a rare genetic condition referred to as MRKH and occurs in 1 in every 14,500 women.  Jennifer signed up for a trial at Penn Medicine to received a uterine transplant in 2018 which was a very complicated procedure that took 10 hours.  After her long and difficult journey, Jennifer became pregnant and welcomed a beautiful baby boy.  I am so excited for you to hear her miraculous story!
